Katrina Kaif was born on 16 July 1984 in the Hong Kong. She has six sisters and one brother. Her father was originally from the Kashmir but they settled in British. Katrina firstly lived in Hawaii but then shifted to London.
Katrina started modeling when she was fourteen years old. She started this for jewelry movement in the London. At this time Kaizad Gustad who is a filmmaker discovered her and gave her a chance for the film "Boom". This film was released in 2003.
For doing modeling she shifted to Mumbai and got so many offers of modeling. At the starting of her career in the Bollywood, many directors ignore her only because of her poor Hindi.
