Maya skillfully penned the lyrics for the film, which gave hit numbers like 'Jabse Tumane Bansi Bajaayi Re' and 'Naino Me Darpan Hai'. It was also a first Hindi film for music composer, Dr Bhupen Hazarika.
After her very first successful run, she was signed for Ramanand Sagar's 'Jalte Badan'. For this film, the combination of Laxmikant-Pyarelalji composer duo and Maya's lyrics again gave hit songs like- 'Ham wo hai jo apane ghar ko jalakar' and 'Ganv ganv ghumein shehar shehar chhana'.
