Nadeem Shravan is the music composer duo, who had lent many unforgettable tunes to Indian Hindi film music. They were the most productive composers during 90s. Their melodious music displays through films like Aashiqi, Saajan, Phool Aur Kaante, Pardes, Raja Hindustani, Raaz, Deewaana and many more.

In 1972, they met each other at some function and their association started since then. The duo got their first break with the film 'Maine Jeena Seekh Liya' in 1981. But it didn't give them recognition as prominent music composers in the film industry. Followed by it they did several B-grade films until they get three big films- Lashkar, Ilaka and Hisaab Khoon Ka. But these films also didn't bring out good music.

Nadeem Shravan get there first major break with the film 'Aashiqi' in 1990. This film established brought them in the front league. Aashiqi was super hit film. It was also a special film for actor Rahul Dev and singer Kumar Sanu. It helped Kumar Sanu to boost his singing career, while it is one of the hit films of Rahul Dev. The songs from the film 'Dhire Dhire Se Meri Jindagi Mein Aana', 'Jaan-e-jigar Jaan-e-man', 'Nazar Ke Saamane' And 'Sanson Ki Zaroorat Hai Jaise' are simply unforgettable. Still today the music album of Aashiqi is one of the favorite albums for many music lovers.

Followed by Aashiqi, they found similar success with films Saajan, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahi, Sadak, Dilwaale and Phuol Aur Kaante. All the films were hit at box office. Also its music played an important role for being successful. Their other hit films include Salaami, Kal Ki Awaaz, Deewana and Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin. Nadeem Shravan had their unique style of music, which is traditionally Indian. Their every composition shows rhythm and melody. They have created every style of music from sentimental, fast number to dance number as well.

Their hit songs includes 'Chehra Kya Dekhte Ho Dil Mein Utarkar' (Salaami), 'Sochenge Tumhein Pyaar Kare Ki Nahin' (Deewana), 'Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin', and 'Tu Pyaar Hai Kisi Aur Ka' (Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin) and many more. They together gave another hit in 1997 with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Sibhash Ghai's 'Pardes'. All The songs from the film 'Do Dil Mil Rahe Hai', 'Meri Mehbooba', 'Yeh Dil Diwana Hai Yeh Dil', 'Yeh Mera India, I love India', Jahan Piya Wahan Main', 'Nahi Hona Tha' and the pop song 'My First Day In U.S.A.' became hit. After 'Pardes', one music critic said that stop composing music now because you reached your peak and there can't be anything better than this. Like this they had created a niche for themselves. For most of their films, not only one song emerged as hit, but the entire album becomes hit.

By the time, the duo also caught into controversy, when Nadeem was arrested in the case of T-Series owner Gulshan Kumar's murder case. Nadeem has charged the claim that he had paid money to underworld Don to kill Gulshan Gover. While he was in London on holiday, an arrest warrant was issued on is name in India. To stay an away from the matter, and with the fear of getting arrested he stayed back in London itself. The duo had got much negative publicity due to this matter. It also affected their career as well.

But the duo came back to circle with films like Yeh Dil Ashiqana, Raaz, Kasoor, Ek Rishta and Andaaz, lending hit numbers in each film. But this time Nadeem was working from London, while Shravan being in India, with the help of technology. But the duo now split away after the film Dosti: Friends Forever in 2005.

Nadeem Shravan Profile In their career of 27 years, they have worked with almost every big singer like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, S.P. Balasubrahmaniyam, Babul Supriyo, Alisha Chinoy, Sadhna Sargam, Abhijeet, Nithin Mukesh, Roop Kumar Rathod and Shreya Ghosal. But their all time favorites were Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu and Anuradha Paudwal. Like this they also had worked with top lyricists of their time like Anand Bakshi. Hasrat Jaipuri, Faaiz Anwar, Rani Malik and many others. But there most favourite was Sameer, who wrote lyrics for their first major hit 'Aashiqi'.

Along with this, Nadeem Shravan also has a successful sales history. Almost every album created by them has topped the charts. Also there is good news for their fans now. Both of them are coming back together for film 'Raaz 2'.
