Neeti Mohan is a rising singer in Bollywood's music industry. She rose to fame with her chartbuster song 'Ishq Waala Love' from Karan Johar's 'Student Of The Year'. The song went on to become one of the most successful songs both critically and commercially in the year of 2012.
Neeti Mohan was born in Delhi to Brij Mohan and Kusum Mohan. She has three more younger sisters, one of whom is the notable television actress Shakti Mohan of Channel V's 'Dil Dosti Dance' fame. Shakti Mohan was also the winner of Zee TV's Dance India Dance. Her another sister Mukti Mohan was seen on Star Plus' 'Zaraa Nachke Dikhaa' and Colors' 'Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 6'. Her youngest sister is Kriti Mohan.
Neeti Mohan completed her schooling from Rajasthan's Birla Balika Vidyapeeth located at Pilani. She is a philosophy graduate from the Miranda House of Delhi.
She was given her first break in Bollywood as a playback singer by music director duo Vishal Shekhar to render the track 'Ishq Waala Love' for Karan Johar's 'Student Of The Year'. She went on to sing notable tracks for A. R Rahman as well in 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' and 'Raanjhanaa'. She also sang for 'Nautanki Saala' alongside Ayushmaan Khurrana. She rendered 'Kashmir Main Tu Kanyakumari' along with Arijit Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan for 'Chennai Express'.
Neeti Mohan also received her first Filmfare Award in the 'RD Burman New Music Talent' category for 'Ishq Waala Love' and 'Jab Tak Hai Haan'.
She also did try her hands in acting in the film 'Socha Na Tha' directed by Imtiaz Ali in 2005 alongside Abhay Deol and Ayesha Takia.
She rendered one Bengali song 'Korishna Rangbaaji' for the film 'Rangbaaji' in 2013 under music director Jeet Ganguly. She also sang the Telugu song 'Viyyalavaru' for the movie 'Thadaka' under composer 'Thaman' in 2013.
