One of the all rounder singers is Shubha Mudgal. She is among the creative and daring females of the India. She had born in rich musical family in the year 1959 in Alahabad. She took music lesson from famous musicians of India. Then she moved to Delhi for taking further education in music.

Shubha Mudgal took the training in thumari from Naina Devi and become versatile performer among new generation. She received basic training in Gwaliior gharana. Kumar gandharva changed her singing style.

She is singer as well as composer. Her brave experimentation always brings her into clash. Her first album, a collection of Sufi songs was became hit. After getting success in album, she won credit as a music composer. Shubha Mudgal wrote music and played a small role in Kam Sutra. She interested in learning new music from different cultures.
